So... I finally got my visa sorted out and I'll be leaving for London tomorrow morning. From then on, I will be more or less incommunicado because I'll be leaving a fair number of home comforts including an ever-present broadband connection behind.

I'm excited, nervous and sad all at the same time. This is something I've wanted for the longest time, but after the past five years of incredibly long hours, I'm not sure if I have the energy to deal with this now, but I sure am going to give it my best shot. And while I'll be happy to return to the place where I did most of my growing up (character-wise), I am leaving a lot of great friends behind, friends whom I've always been able to count on whenever I needed support.

My bags are almost packed, some tears have been shed and my panic mode is almost completely engaged.

I'll be back blogging soon, but till then, take care.

It's a good thing I've watched Little Miss Sunshine, otherwise, I would think Steve Carrell's a real d**k given how convincingly he portrays Michael, the boss, in The Office.
Another hot Grey's Anatomy moment from Ep 3.02 I am a Tree, as described by Television Without Pity (the must-go site for anyone who's as big a couch potato as I am):
[Meredith] starts listing off all the things [Finn] is: sweet, kind, sensitive, et cetera. Finn tells her that he knows she has a decision to make, and he doesn't want to rush her, but he does want to make one thing clear. Mere: "What's that?" Finn: "I'm not all that sensitive." And then he [pushes her up against the wall and] KISSES HER. Because he's SO CUTE.
I know it's one of those "you had to see it" kind of moments, but my gosh, that was one heck of a hot moment. Yum.
